Harley and I went over to Palmer Park this morning and I took him for his first walk on the Mesa Trail. We walked down to where the figure eight crosses and then we turned back. Harley got to meet a lot of new dogs and a lot of new people. Most people roughed him up a little which is exactly what I wanted them to do. He did so well on the leash for his first time up there. He's still going all around me and pulling a bit by the majority of the time he was loose leash on my left side. I didn't time how long we walked. We kept going until it seemed like the right time to turn around. He was very appropriate when meeting other dogs and other people. He's still jumping up but at 12 1/2 weeks I'm not going to complain about all the little things. He is plum tuckered out. He's on the kitchen floor sleeping. A tired puppy is a good puppy.
