I've been doing some reasearch on a raw meat diet and clicker training. There are some issues that might be helped using a raw meat diet, such as: coats will be shinier, dogs will be healthier, they are tired of kibble
There are some behaviors that might be helped using clicker training, such as: kenneling easier, sit, flat, wait ,etc, coming when called
The raw meat diet has a lot of info on the web. It looks like it takes a bit to get use to preparing it but most people say it's no problem after a while. The diet basically includes raw chicken, raw meaty bones, a vegatable patty, fish and fruit. It's an interesting diet. I hope the dogs will like it. There will be a lot of trial and error in finding out what they like.
The clicker training seems like it would be a good idea too. There's one really good site about clicker training (Karen Pryor's site) and it's very informative. I think they will respond well to the clicker training. I also think it will be better to clicker train them because David tends to yell at them or get frustrated. With a clicker, the sound is alway consistent. We'll see how it goes.
