Bittersweet

I can only describe how I feel as bittersweet. I am so happy that my dogs are doing great but at the same time I'm sad that they are not here with me. I am however greatly relieved that Kris had nothing but good things to tell me about them. And I'm so proud that Moped can go to work with her daughter. I'll always think of them as my dogs and I'll always want to know how they are doing.

I was just thinking that I should write a letter to their prospective new owner(s) and tell them about Skooter and Moped. I'll let them know about their nicknames and why they have them. I can tell them how much they are loved by David and by me and how it was a tough, but right decision to send them to the Rescue. I think maybe I will work on those letters later. I'll have to put some thought into it first.
